With several of the children we look after on holiday I was able to take 4 hrs off until the school run :) So I was on the water at 11 with the xantos and 7.5 as the sea was abit big for slalom gear in 15 kts of onshore wind.I played with the 5 kiters out at the ferry for a while but keep running aground including a time when I stopped sharply and made a small hole in the front of my board with my boom !!! I had a beat to the Spa and a good reach back where I recorded my fastest time, then back for a break.Out again for some fast reaching in front of golf beach when there was a big crack and yet another mast just snapped out by the red and white bouy !!! So with the wind and tide slowly taking me towards the shore I de-rigged and started swimming !!! Then my knight in shining armour arrived - Roger Vickers and towed my ashore :) So was was able to pick up the school kids with time to spare and take them for a run at Landguard where a couple of windsurfers were out and formula boys David and Nick were packing up !! The sea does look abit flatter here so will take the slalom board there next time !!!!
